Web Design

The Edge of the Internet, where growth occurs and some of the best stuff lives

Web Design 2018-2019

In a bit over 25 years the World Wide Web has gone from a novel way for universities and the military to share data to a seemingly essential component of our business, educational, and personal lives. The Web Design class at PTHS looks to give students a basic insight into the mechanics, history, and implications of the World Wide Web, as well as core skills in developing, managing, and deploying effective content and websites. The emphasis of this class is on understanding good design principals and the "Why?" of Web Design as well as the "How".
